With Smart Interconnect, it connects with most First Alert and BRK hardwired alarms, so when one alarm sounds, all compatible alarms (up to 12 smoke alarms and 6 other CO/heat alarms) will sound. The Test/Silence Button provides easy access to temporarily silence or test the alarm, and a dust cover keeps the alarm clean during construction.
