Why do Sunco lights like this last such a short time?
Six years ago we had 10 Sunco puck lights installed in our Florida apartment by our contractor. We use them only 4 months per year, less the pandemic years, or a little over 1 and a third years. TWO FAILED. A twenty percent failure rate in less than two years of use. We were left two extras, and I installed the LED puck part to fix the two failed ones. So I ordered more this year from you, and they came okay--but the connector between the transformer and the light cluster has been modified. Hopefully I can figure out the polarity to instrall the new style pucks to the old transformers when the next light fails. Which it surely will.
Replacement Light
Had to remove the entire old light setup, not like replacing a bulb light. Nice lights when they work, it's a shame that most people would need to call an Electrician to fix the burned out unit. Ordered the new unit using the Numbers off of the old unit, but the plug cord didn't match the old plug, therefore the entire unit and plug box had to be switch. So I couldn't tell if the LED burned out or if it was the power box. The lights do give off nice crisp clear light, which is a saving grace.
Great Product
Replacing some existing discontinued LEDs. These seem to be much better.
These are awesome good lighting for the price.
Easy to order and install is easy. Would like to know what the warranty is on theses lights. Had lights installed @1 1/2- 2 years ago from a company which they wanted to charge over $100 just to come out and replace 1 light but they are not giving any warranty and I have been replacing them as they start to get dim or just stop working. Do electrical, plumbing and Air Conditioning by trade so I’m very capable of doing the work but I don’t think I should have to replace the lights so often your warranty states @7 years warranty. Can you provide me with the warranty information. Ty.
Great Lights
We have several and one died. Replacement arrived quickly but required the included driver box replace the old. That made installation more difficult. Overall a high quality product.
