Using the latest technology, Sunco's PAR38 LED Dusk to Dawn bulb powers on automatically when the sun goes down. The photocell sensor detects light levels to act as automatic night light. Flip the switch on to activate the sensor. Just set it and forget it. Note: This bulb is non-dimmable.

United StatesI replaced a dusk to dawn LED fixture because one of the LED's had burnt out, so much for the 20-25 year lifespan on those. I replaced that fixture with an old school two bulb holding fixture, typically mounted to a vertical wall or a soffit, in my case it was soffit mounted. I added these D2D bulbs, so that in the event that one burns out, it is easily replaceable(unlike the fixture that was replaced; it was not serviceable). Having a D2D either fixture or bulb is handy whereas you don't have to remember to turn on/off the switch.
