AIRTIGHT & IC RATED

Sunco's new construction cans are airtight and thermally protected and designed to be installed in the ceiling surrounded by insulation. This can is IC Rated. Sunco's cans won't overheat and cause a fire in the roof or overhead joist space. Airtight design (meets ASTM Standard E283-04) to keep air conditioning or heating from leaking out of the home through the housing.

SIMPLE INSTALL

Follow our easy instruction guide for a fast and secure setup! Sunco's direct wire new construction cans with junction box are installed to the framing with the bar hangers (prior to drywall). TP24 connector included. This is the can only. Retrofit LED downlights are sold separately. Accepts maximum 18 watts.

Sunco 4” cans were better than I thought

We bought 20 of these, and so glad we did! The housing allows you to put the support arms on in either direction (huge help). The can depth is adjustable. The connector that comes with the can plugs right into our 4” Philips Hue downlight - perfect fit. The best part, for us installing, is that the Sunco work box comes with 3-wire push in wire connectors, no more wire nuts!! We bought a whole package of Wago 221 push-in connectors from big box store and were able to return them because Sunco already thought of it for us! Very happy with this purchase!
