This was a great solution for my 4-inch cans. I wanted lights that filled the space, rather than bulbs recessed well into the ceiling. And I didn't want air escaping from my rooms into the ceiling. The Sunco retrofits solved both problems and were inexpensive and a breeze to install: just screw in the bulb extension and push the light into place. The ability to choose the light color is a great feature that could come in handy if we or future owners ever want a different color light (from yellow to very white, aka warm to cool).
