The infrared photocell sensor detects light levels to act as automatic night light. To activate the sensor: turn it on, leave it on. Note: This bulb is non-dimmable.

United StatesJust installed the first two bulbs and they seem to be working fine. The dawn to dusk feature is a great convenience. More importantly, the customer service I received from Sunco was excellent in every respect. It is a pleasure doing business with Sunco.
United StatesExperience is good on the other hand I purchased 13 bulbs that were California compliant sunrise. The sun set to sun down three of them failed on me. Warranty‘s taken care of it and they’re really nice but I wish they would last longer than a couple of months.
