The Interconnect Hardwire Combination Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarm with Battery Backup is designed for direct wire-in with a 9V battery backup, ensuring protection during power outages. Its perfect mount allows for easy installation, with a secure mounting bracket that offers a wide rotation range for ideal alignment. The latching alarm indicator visually identifies the unit that initiated the alarm or has a low battery. With Smart Interconnect, it connects with most First Alert and BRK hardwired alarms, so when one alarm sounds, all compatible alarms (up to 12 smoke alarms and 6 other CO/heat alarms) will sound. The Test/Silence Button provides easy access to temporarily silence or test the alarm, and a dust cover keeps the alarm clean during construction.
