This rough in plate sets the position of a 3, 4 or 6 inch square recessed LED light with a junction box before the ceiling goes up. Its adjustable sliding clips extend from 13-3/4 to 25-3/16 inches, end to end, so they reach the beam on each side. Remove the metal ring that matches the size of the light, slide the clips out to the beams, then nail each end in place. Sold in packs of 6.
