The Siemens BoltShield FSPD140 is a 140 kA, single-phase, Type 2 Surge Protective Device (SPD) listed to UL 1449 5th Edition (2021) and compliant with NEC Article 285. Rated for 120/240V, 1Ø, 3W systems with all modes of protection (L-N, L-G, N-G) and a 200 kA short-circuit current rating, it installs externally parallel to the load center via a 3/4-inch NPT fitting. The NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure handles indoor and outdoor applications across –40°C to +85°C. Built-in phase loss monitoring, an audible alarm, a Form C dry-contact output, and three green status LEDs plus one red fault LED give clear at-a-glance protection status. Thermally protected MOVs and integrated UL 1283 EMI/RFI filtering complete the package.
